Emerica, originally known as “Etnies America”, was founded in 1996 by French pro freestyle skateboarder Pierre André Senizergues and has since evolved into a core skateboarding brand heavily driven by their professional and amateur team, that includes some of the most influential skateboarders of today: Andrew Reynolds, Ed Templeton, Kevin Long and Jerry Hsu. Emerica strives to defy convention by providing skateboarders with their functional footwear and apparel that can withstand serious skateboarding abuse.

This simple yet slightly buff shoe features a wider outsole, a seamless toe cap for no blow-outs, a puffy biscuit tongue and a vulcanized-looking cupsole--all wrapped up in sweet, durable suede. Features of the Emerica Fat Laced Shoe include Suede or canvas with print upper materials, Double padded tongue and collar, Full-length internal EVA midsole, Molded STI Foam footbed cushioning, and a 400 NBS natural gum rubber cupsole.
