Bell makes helmets. That is what made them the leader in helmet technology it is today. The start of Bell as a business goes back to 1923, when George Wight opened Bell Auto Parts in a suburb of Los Angeles. In 1954 Roy Richter took over control of Bell and started to focus on helmets. Bell has out fitted helmeted riders in both the auto/moto world as well as in the cycling community. Bell now offers helmets for skateboarding. Using the same technology used in the helmets made for Olympians, Bell is ready to protect the next generation of skateboarders.
