Transworld Skateboarding magazine started out as a call to arms over the way the skate scene had been portrayed. Founded by Larry Balma and Peggy Cozens in 1983, the idea was to produce skateboard media with a more positive feel. “Skate and Create” is the tag line behind most of the products produced by Transworld, which include a monthly magazine and a series of skate videos. There are 21 videos to date at the time of this writing, with one more in the works.
